12 Month Position Details: This position has been reposted and updated to better meet the needs otf the department. Typical schedules for Custodians are: An overnight schedule; typically Sunday/Monday-Thursday/Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM or 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM depending on business needs. Or A day schedule; typically Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM or 6:00 AM - 2:30 AM depending on business needs. Summary of Duties: Perform custodial tasks to maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and care of facilities within an assigned area.
Duties and Responsibilities Include: Area Coverage Cleaning/Sanitizing & Trash/Recycle Dusting & Detailed Cleaning: 45% Floor Care: 40% Windows & Lighting, Entries, Event Setup/Move Furniture & Equipment : 10% Other: 5%
May work in cold or hot temperatures while performing duties outside.
This recruitment may be used to fill multiple positions. Required Qualifications: Minimum age of 18.
Additional Requirements: Physical ability to perform the duties of the job. Must pass a criminal background check. Must be able to work an overnight shift.
