Cook-Cogswell Hall
The YWCA of Greater Cleveland is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. We are currently searching for a qualified individual to be a Cook at our Cogswell Hall location. Cogswell Hall offers trauma-informed supportive services and housing for 41 adult residents.
The schedule for this role is: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 12:00pm-6:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 6:00am - 2:00pm
As a Cook you will exemplify at all times the Cuyahoga County Department of Public Health standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization. You will be responsible for producing and serving a menu compliant with the My Plate Nutrition criteria. You will also survey the residents monthly to evaluate food service, such as quality, quantity, temperature and appearance.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED A valid Ohio driver license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle Minimum of one year restaurant or senior living cooking experience Culinary degree is preferred Servsafe Certification preferred The YWCA is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
