Description: The Clinical Director Assistant provides administrative functions and support to the Clinical Director to assure the daily management of the clinical team operations and the agency operations and are necessary to assure delivery of care for patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verifies SOC, ROCs, Recerts and patient evaluations were performed as scheduled

• Ensures frequency, Recerts, and supervisory visits are plotted on patient schedules.

• Assigns, tracks, and reviews clinical schedules to ensure productivity standards are met.

• Notifies intake of additional authorizations that are needed for patient services.

• Maintains master clinical calendar of time off as approved by Clinical Director.

• Establishes and maintains on-call schedule for assigned region(s).

• Coordinates and attends patient care conferences for assigned regions(s).

• Schedules meeting as requested by the Clinical Director.

• Ensures work flow process are timely: clinical documentation is in the patient EMR, visit verification, admission and status updates are within the required time frames, and other processes as defined by the Clinical Director.

• Reviews and processes clinical orders for order run as directed by Clinical Director.

• Assists Clinical Director with Claims Alert, RAPs at Risk, Unverified Visit, Oasis Due, Visit Frequency, and other reports as assigned.

• Completes other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director and VP of Clinical Services.. Skillset Required: Qualifications
• Skilled HH experience within past 2-5 years (must have more than private duty/personal care/long term care exp)
• LPN licensure in Virginia and Maryland (willing to apply for DC if not current). All 3 will be required within 6 months of hire.
• Willing to rotate days between 3 office sites
• Ability to multi task with excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail required with proficiency in Word, Excel a must.
• Previous experience in oversight of home health aides, direction of clinical staff, staff education required.
• Ability to work unsupervised in office settings
• Ability to perform home health client visits including wound care, IV therapy, and disease management required
• Wellsky/Kinnser electronic medical record experience preferred.
• Quality improvement/Infection control monitoring experience preferred.
Education and Experience:
• Licensed Practical Nurse
• One year of office experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Organizational and human resource skills.
• Ability to work under time pressure.
• Ability to work with details.
• Ability to use computer for word processing and data entry applications.
• Experience with diagnosis coding.
