Business Product Senior Advisor, Go-to-Market Strategy - Hybrid Role Description:
This role is responsible for defining and driving Express Scripts Pharmacy Go-to-Market strategy for high priority products and initiatives. In this role, the Sr. Advisor will develop a market-leading product strategic framework that is fueled by market dynamics, competitor insights and technology trends.
This position serves as a key partner for the Product Development team, Pharmacy Sales Support team and Account Management in setting and achieving product upsell targets by maximizing the adoption of new products in market. This includes developing internal and external product positioning, upsell product pipelines and client/patient adoption plans. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Analyze complex market data; transform market dynamics into market-leading solutions. Assist with the definition of stretch up-sell goals. Define data-driven and compelling external and internal product positioning. Represent Express Scripts Pharmacy products across highly matrixed organization in support of client-facing activities. Responsible for planning and successful execution of large cross-functional product go-to-market projects, which include defining project scope, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and work plans. Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to deliver on product strategy goals. Prioritize, plan and delegate work as appropriate to ensure effective execution of team/function deliverables. Resolve issues and determine contingency plans and triggers for risks. As needed, escalate issues to appropriate audiences including key business leaders and team members. Influence and communicate effectively with individuals in various functional areas and at all levels of management. Experience & Qualifications: 6+ years' experience in market analysis, product development, product marketing, or other relevant experience. MBA in related field or equivalent professional experience. Consultant experience in related field an advantage. Previous pharmacy experience an advantage. Excellent analytic, written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to quickly translate ideas and insights into executive level presentation-ready documents Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and to resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, ability to deliver against aggressive timelines/deadlines. Critical thinker and creative problem solver; seeks perspective from others to inform a unique perspective and able to influence/gain buy-in. Demonstrated experience in influencing cross-functional teams. Proven ability to work in a fast paced - ever changing environment. Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office suite.
