Architectural Designer

Description: Haven Venture's subsidiary, Haven Design|Build is a rapidly growing BCorp that exists to increase the quantity and quality of housing options for vulnerable and under-served communities.  We are seeking a passionate, mission-aligned, energetic and entrepreneurial-minded Production Architect with experience in various types of housing projects.  This Production Architect will be an essential team member for multiple single-family, multi-family, and/or small commercial projects, from Conceptual Design through Construction Administration. As a small firm, this position offers the opportunity to influence all aspects of our practice as well as taking on multi-faceted responsibilities in and out of the practice of architecture. Due to Covid, Temporary remote work / flexible schedules are available.  The ideal candidate will; Care deeply about housing and economic development for vulnerable communities, Have extensive experience creating permit drawings and managing the entirety of that process, and Be particularly keen on working in a small-firm atmosphere, Preferably have an architecture license. Candidates must; Have a professional degree in Architecture with 3+ years of experience, Understand project management processes and be highly organized, Work well within a team environment and participate in collaborative design, Be knowledgeable of Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop and Google Drive, Be self-motivated, responsible, and honest.
