Analyze product problems resulting from design flaws and propose solutions. Develop and maintain application knowledge in area of design. Perform complex functions to design COCC products and assists in testing, implementation, training, and support of those designs. Communicate with Customer Service and Product teams to ensure proposed solutions meet client needs. Handle Customer Service questions concerning regulations and/or existing industry requirements and functionality of products. Create and maintain documentation for support and development items. Having a technical mindset is important, though it is just as critical to have a comfortable communication style and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
What you'll bring… Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related or equivalent work experience is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications. Minimum 3-4 years systems support or design experience in a banking or financial services environment. Proficient in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL). Knowledge of specific Banking applications - Online Banking is a plus. Knowledge of Relational Database Concepts. Experience working in an Agile software development environment. Ability to read, analyze and interpret banking periodicals, professional/technical journals and technical procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both orally and in writing. Solid analytical skills and a strong attention to detail. Rotational production support is required. Some weeks require work over 40 hours. COCC is committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace.
